Warren Bobrow=WB: Please inform me about your business? What brought you to the marijuana company? What did you do initially?

Brandon Stump=BS: A terribly torn ligament in my ankle from a basketball game brought me to CBD. A buddy of mine who was familiar with CBD motivated me to look into it, but as a sober man, I wanted absolutely nothing to do with anything in the world of marijuana. But there I was suffering from a torn ligament and in extreme pain. This very same good friend, who happens to be a certified nutritional expert and physical trainer, gave me a topical CBD product, which I assumed was going to be no various than Icy Hot. I applied it, and I was blown away by the relief. I remember thinking, “This cream is magic! What on earth remains in it? How on earth does it work?” From that minute forward, I was on a mission to learn everything I could about CBD.

At the time, I was managing 20 sober living homes in Southern California (which I continue to operate and manage today). The key to sobriety is community, and not simply any neighborhood but one that’s extremely structured around mental, psychological and physical health and wellness.

The more I learned about CBD, the more concerned my company partner (and brother), Ryan Stump, and I became about the quality of items that were currently on the market. We saw a chance to develop a brand constructed on real health and health, complete transparency, and neighborhood. Our business, PACHAMAMA CBD, indicates “Environment,” the giver of all life, and while I take pride in the superior quality of our items we have actually established in partnership with Environment, I’m most happy with our business culture. Our labor force is 70%sober. If these young folks can beat dependency, the sky’s the limitation in regards to what they can professionally achieve with the ideal support system, mentorship and neighborhood in location. These are people who are grateful to be alive, who are determined to change individuals’s lives for the much better, and who share a palpable enthusiasm to persevere, to do right by one another and our customers, and to reach their complete potential. Together we rise.

WB: Do you have a coach?

BS: Yes. My coach is my pops. I run all significant choices both in life and service through him. He’s simply constantly ideal. He’s my north star, and he spearheads our sales operations at PACHAMAMA. In under a year, he and our sales group have actually protected more than 1000 merchants for our items. It’s a real “family affair.” Not everybody at PACHAMAMA is a blood relative, however we are all family.

I always knew I wanted to work for myself. I’m proficient at leading in business, but not necessarily at being led. That does not indicate I’m opposed to cooperation, partnerships, originalities or guidance, simply that my strengths lie in management and carrying out tactical vision, mission and general direction. In every element of organisation, I’m an issue solver committed to doing it 100%right, and I’m unapologetic about it. Will Smith once stated something to the impact of, “I’m not scared to die on a treadmill.” This one motivating declaration fuels my work ethic every minute of the day.

I’m also inspired by a number of athletes like Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan as well as coaches like Greg Popovich and Bill Belichick.

WB: What are your goals in organisation? 6 and twelve- month? What about the obstacles?

BS: My primary goal is to construct a company that continues to change lives – the lives of our worker neighborhood in addition to the lives of consumers – for years to come. To that end, we’re always investigating and exploring how we can better serve consumers based upon their requirements, their lifestyles, the diversity of CBD delivery systems presently available (topicals, gels caps, casts, edibles, etc), and how CBD is metabolized by the body. Over the next 6 months, we prepare to release a variety of new products that use broad and full spectrum CBD in types. This month we’re excited to introduce a vegan gel pill the second week of May that features CBD wrapped in a tapioca shell – an excellent alternative for those wanting the terrific benefits of CBD in an extended release capsule kind. Over the next 6 to 12 months, we will be rolling out our PACHAMAMA CSR effort that’s presently in advancement. And my long term objective is to see PACHAMAMA items on shelves internationally.

I’m tremendously competitive by nature (thus my regular sports references); and simply like in sports, I think the best method to conquer obstacles is to expect them, tactically prepare for them, and learn from our mistakes as well as those of our rivals.

WB: Do you have a favorite food memory? What does your preferred meal look like? Made by whom? (Living or not)

BS: Food makes me really delighted, especially when shared with family. I’ve been blessed to be able to experience food all over the world. Some of my favorite food memories consist of the time I had newly caught sea bass over a wood fire flame, campfire-style on a beach in Mexico, cooked and prepared by a regional angler using absolutely nothing other than fire. It was the very best fish meal in my life. Another incredible food memory was the time I got to consume fresh black truffle pasta in this tiny little village in Northern Italy. My senses were full. I can still taste it.

I literally enjoy all foods and meals (I love vegan dining establishments, Chinese cuisine, Indonesian food, French cuisine, Italian food … ), but if I had to choose one food category that is my go-to, it would be Texas BBQ: Texas beef brisket, burnt ends, and beef ribs.

WB: What is your enthusiasm?

BS: My enthusiasm is winning at life and really taking the time to acknowledge and value each and every win.
